Funeral for Juanita B. Smith, 81, of Hartselle will be Fri., Sept. 2, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Fri., Sept. 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Smith died Tues., Aug. 30, 2011, at her residence. She was born Nov. 9, 1929, in Tennessee to Wilson Bradford and Ruby Wright Bradford. She was a member of the Hartselle Church of Christ for 42 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her husband, Charles Smith, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Smith of Hartselle and David Smith and wife Rebecca of Munford; a daughter, Darlene Brakefield and husband Ray of Madison; a brother, David Bradford of Dunlop, Tenn.; three surviving grandchildren, Brad Smith and wife Miranda and April Smith, all of Hartselle and Charles D. Smith and wife Lisa of Ft. Valley; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were church members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
