Frances Inez King

Funeral for Frances Inez King, 92, of Hartselle was Wed., Sept, 7, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Forrest Long officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. King died Mon., Sept. 5, 2011, at her residence. She was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Morgan County to Pleatus Lafayette McCaghren and Vider Sams McCaghren.

She was a Methodist and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Orman King, and a grandson, Jimmy Lynn King.

She is survived by three sons, Ray King of Killen, Jimmy King of Hartselle and Jerry King of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Maverine Black of Moulton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
