Billy Joe “Buzz” Brown

Funeral for Billy Joe “Buzz” Brown, 70, of Somerville will be Fri., Sept. 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Brad Roath and Mike Eaton officiating.

Visitation will be Thur., Sept. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Brown died Tues., Sept. 13, 2011, at River City Care and Rehab. He was born Sept. 1, 1941, in Morgan County to Willie “Bill” Lee Brown and Bama Leoda Arden Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James and Raymond Brown, and a sister, Agnes Barnett. He retired form Delphi (Saginaw) in Limestone County as head custodian.

He is survived by three sons, David J. Brown of Decatur, Michael L. Brown of Odessa, Texas, and Anthony Brown of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Doris Lindsey of Decatur and Martha Shipley of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
