Infant found during meth lab bust, bomb also found
Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reportedly found a 5-week-old baby at the home of an active methamphetamine lab, which also had a military-grade explosive and marijuana plants.
The following were arrested Saturday night.
• Melissa Sullivan, 45, was charged with first-degree manufacture of a controlled substance, chemical endangerment of a child and resisting arrest.
• Anna Sullivan, 21, was charged with first-degree manufacture of a controlled substance, chemical endangerment of a child and first-degree possession of marijuana.
• Mark Sullivan, 18, was charged with first-degree manufacture of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Gregory Pannell, 46, of Hartselle was charged with first-degree manufacture of a controlled substance and first-degree possession of marijuana.
All are in jail under bonds of $1,002,500 each.
Authorities are still searching for Kerry Dale “Shorty” Humphries, 45. He is wanted for unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance first degree and possession of marijuana first degree. He is presumed to be armed and dangerous. The sheriff’s department is also seeking federal charges from the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives and the FBI.
