Aldridge recognized by ASWA

Hartselle quarterback Deacon Aldridge was recognized by the Alabama Sports Writers Association after leading the Tigers to a 17-3 win over Walker Friday night.

Aldridge finished the game 15-for-21 for 172 yards with no interceptions. He also rushed for 82 yards on 12 carries including, a 1-yard touchdown run that put the game away for Hartselle. He also had a 24-yard rush in the first half and a 36-yard pass completion to Blake Slayton.

The Tigers will host rival Decatur on Friday at 7 p.m. in J.P. Cain Stadium.
