Diversity banquet planned for Tuesday

Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce will have its ninth annual Diversity Banquet on Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. at Holiday Inn & Suites.

Keynote speaker will be Wally Amos, founder of Famous Amos Cookies. Tickets are $30 and are available at the chamber or by calling 256-353-5312.

Nucor and BP joins the chamber in sponsoring the Diversity Summit from 8 a.m. to noon on the same day at the Turner-Surles Community Resource Center.
