Funeral for Ila Katherine Dorris of Hartselle will be Sat., Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Benjamin Bates officiating and with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Sept. 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dorris was born in East Palestine, Ohio, to Willis Bable and Marian Treslar Bable. She died Thur., Sept. 22, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Dorris of Hartselle; a son, David Anthony Ammon of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Tina Yaegle of Clarendon, Penn.; a sister, Twila Davis of Negly, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
