Golf tournament to benefit SNAP

A NAIFA-Tennessee Valley Local Football Legends Golf Tournament will be held Mon., Oct. 3, at Burningtree County Club as a fundraiser for the John Mark Stallings Special Needs Accessible Playground in Hartselle.

The four-man scramble event will get underway at 8 a.m. and lunch will be provided.

Entry fees are $400 per team and $500 per team with hole sponsor.

Proceeds will be used for construction of the third and final phase of the playground.
