Man charged with burglarizing house of girlfriend’s father
A 22-year-old man is now in jail after he allegedly broke into a home in the Oak Ridge community on Friday.
Jeff Davis Massey of Decatur was arrested and charged with the burglary of a residence on Norris Mill Road.

On Friday, deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence. The victim reported being awakened by two large bangs of someone kicking in his front door. The victim then met the suspect in the hallway of his house and chased him out the front door and down the road.
The victim identified Massey, his daughter’s boyfriend.
Massey was arrested by the Decatur Police Department on unrelated charges and then transferred to the Morgan County Jail to face the burglary charges.
The investigation is still continuing with more arrests expected.
