Funeral for Edith W. Harvey, 91, of Danville will be Thurs. (today), Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Dan Compton and Jack Bailey officiating. Visitation will be Thurs., Sept. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, South of Danville.

Mrs. Harvey died Tues., Sept. 27, 2011, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Apr. 17, 1920, in Morgan County to Jacob Wilbanks and Leatha Williams Wilbanks. She was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dan Harvey; son-in-law, Bobby L. James; daughter, Barbara Harvey James; and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Kay H. Orr and husband David of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Falkville Healthcare Center and Southern Care.
