FFA takes positive action
A Hartselle High School group is taking on project that will help save taxpayer money.
The high school’s Future Farmers of America has agreed to take on the city’s garden planters in downtown as a community service project. They will maintain the plants and flowers by providing the labor and resources to plant, weed and mulch them.
“We’re very pleased that they want to take on this project. Coach (Greg) Adams called me up and told us he wanted to do this and I thought it was a great idea,” Mayor Dwight Tankersley said.
This is an awesome idea. We would like to congratulate Hartselle’s FFA and advisor Greg Adams for doing this great community project. It’s something that will benefit everyone.
