A memorial service for Pamela Yvonne Cook Allen, 55, of Hartselle will be Sat., Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. at Somerville United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Walker and the Rev. Buddy Brown officiating. Arrangements were handled by Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen died Aug. 30, 2011, in Kingsland, Ga. She was born April 21, 1956, to Jessie Barney Cook and Yvonne Cook. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Cook; her husband, Mark Allen of Hartselle; two brothers, John Cook of Priceville and Jesse Cook of Decatur; three sisters, Cynthia Green of Somerville, Sonia Harper of Fayetteville, Tenn. and Lela Alexander of Hartselle; two granddaughers, Sierra Wilson and Amy Cain, both of Hazel Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
