The Hartselle Post Office staff has joined in to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness in the month of October. One of the major efforts undertaken is asking their patrons to purchase special breast cancer awareness stamps. The pink stamps sell for $11 per book with $2.20 going to breast cancer research.
The U.S. Postal Service has raised over $76 million for this ongoing research.
They also have a display of prizes, which will be given away during the month. If you visit the post office on Fridays this month you will also be offered a cup of pink lemonade and pink cupcakes. One of the staff members will also offer to add pink color to your hair if you are willing.
So help the post office continue their efforts by supporting this worthy cause, look for them to be attired in pink T- shirts and asking you to purchase the commemorative stamps.
