Reading is FUNdamental at FES

Students at Falkville Elementary School enjoyed their first “Reading is FUNdamental” party of the year with the theme, “Be a Smart Cookie! READ!”

The program is sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Morgan County in Decatur and Valley Rubber in Falkville. Students receive three free books each year to motivate reading.

During the RIF party students selected their free book and enjoyed refreshments furnished by the Falkville PTO. Pictured are kindergarten students Cederic Beavers and Linsley Hayes from Mrs. Heather Sterling’s class.
