Priceville declares office items surplus
Priceville Town Council met briefly Thursday night and adjourned after acting on only two agenda items.
Mayor Pro Tem Tommy Perry presided in the absence of Mayor Melvin Duran who was on vacation. Council Member Charles Black was also unable to attend because of his work schedule.
The governing body unanimously approved the payment of bills totaling $19,764.34 and declared 19 items of office equipment as being unsalvageable and surplus. Those items included fax machines, printers, a copier and a typewriter.
Removed from the agenda was a proposal to seek a $400,000 line of credit from AMFUND for construction work at the Veterans Memorial and the Marco Drive extension.
