Funeral for Myrtice Tedford, 91, of Hartselle will be Wed., Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Nicky Pressnell and Terry Thompson officiating.
Visitation will be Wed., Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Falkville Cemetery.
Mrs. Tedford died Mon., Oct. 31, 2011, at her residence. She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Giles County, Tenn. to James Alford Stewart and Millie Elizabeth Davis Stewart. She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Tedford and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Phil Tedford and wife Gina of Hartselle; a brother, Paul Stewart of Peoria, Ill.; three surviving grandchildren, John Tedford and Jessica Tedford, both of Hartselle and Kim Weaver of Dover, Del. and four great-grandchildren.
The men of Hartselle Church of Christ were pallbearers.
The family extends thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their love and care and also to her sitter, Donna Quarto.
