New Beginnings Quilt Guild will have a quilt show on Saturday and Sunday at Hartselle Gymnastics.

The show will feature quilts made by current members of the guild along with several historical quilts and a display on the progression of quilting techniques.

There will also be a donation quilt fundraiser. Chances to win the Magical Christmas quilt will be sold at $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. There is no charge to attend, but donations can be made.

New Beginnings Quilt Guild meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. on the lower floor of First Christian Church in Hartselle. The organization has a work day on the third Tuesday of each month at the Morgan County Home Extension Office. This is when they work on charity projects as well as other quilts.

They also made approximately 70 Christmas stockings for the Blue Star Mothers of Morgan County to fill and give to soldiers in war zones.
