HJHS to honor veterans during Nov. 10 program

Hartselle Junior High School will honor all military veterans, past and present, at its annual Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 10 at 1:15 p.m. in the school gym.

Under the theme “Honoring All Who Served,” faculty and students will salute veterans with readings of essays, band and choral music and other forms of recognition.

Written invitations have been mailed to more than 400 veterans, according to art teacher Karen Wingenter. However, all veterans are welcome to attend.

Veterans are advised to park in the J.P. Cain Stadium Parking lot and assemble in the school cafeteria at 1 p.m.
