Funeral for Zurtis Johnson, 71, of Falkville will be Wed., Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Smith officiating.

Visitation will be Tues., Nov. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson died Sat., Nov. 5, 2011, at his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1940, in Morgan County to William Lertis Johnson and Emma Lee Hopson Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Thelma Sue Johnson.

He is survived by two sons, Greg Johnson and Daniel Johnson, both of Falkville; two brothers, Gurtis Lavaughn Johnson and Johnny Ray Johnson, both of Cullman; two sisters, Vivian Carol Coffield and Anne Margaret Johnson, both of Cullman; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were family members and friends.
