Most wonderful, important time of the year

You can just feel it in the air. The holidays are just around the corner. Thanksgiving is just two weeks away and with it comes Christmas.

Downtown businesses got in the Christmas spirit early during Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Open House. Shoppers visited local stores and left carrying bags of the goodies they purchased.

For many businesses, Christmas is the most important season. If local businesses are busy, it’s a win-win for everyone. That’s more jobs, more tax revenue for city projects and the possibility of bringing in more business to our area.

So during this shopping season, please think to shop at home first. It’s a decision that will help everyone.
