Graveside service for Christy Renee Powers Whittle, 33, of Decatur was Wed., Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Pines Cemetery with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Whittle died Sat., Nov. 5, 2011, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1978, in Chicago, Ill., to Thomas Jerry Powers and Mertie June Baker Powers.
She is survived by her husband, Tracy Whittle of Decatur; two sons, Seth Thomas Whittle of Decatur and Cody Isaac Lee Colgrove of Michigan; two daughters, Alexzandria Faye Whittle of Decatur and Destiny Noel Michelle Powers of Hartselle; two brothers, Tyrone Powers of Decatur and Frank Young of Kentucky; three sisters, Michelle Powers, Rhonda Cooper and Regina Powers of Decatur; and one grandchild.
