Priceville girls win 4 of last 5
Priceville’s girls basketball team is hitting its stride through the month of December.
The Lady Bulldogs have won four of their last five games to improve to a 5-9 record.
On Dec. 20, Jada Beverly scored 12 points to lead Priceville over Westminster Christian 51-47.
McKenzie Parker added 10 while Alex Moore scored 9 and pulled down 6 rebounds. Peyton Parker scored 7 followed by Molly Thompson with 6 points and 6 rebounds,
Emillee Cunningham with 4 and Katie Barker with 3.
On Dec. 13, Priceville had three players score at least 14 points in its 60-53 win over East Lawrence in a Dec. 13 area game.
Beverly led the way with 16 points while Cunningham had 14 points and 12 rebounds.
McKenzie Parker also scored 14 points and collected 16 rebounds. Peyton Parker had 5 points and dished out 7 assists.
Alex Moore added 4 points and 8 rebounds followed by Barker with 4 points and Amanda St. John with 2 points.
Priceville’s girls will play in the Oneonta Tournament Dec. 27-29. They will open against Oneonta Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
