Funeral for Sarah Moore Mooney, 91, of Pinson will be Fri., Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Johnny Allred and Brian Murphy officiating.
Visitation will be Fri., Jan. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney died Mon., Jan. 9, 2012, at her residence. She was born June 5, 1920, in Morgan County to John Henry Moore and Lera Tuner Moore. She was a member of the Welcome Baptist Church in Pinson and was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Mooney and her parents.
She is survived by a son, John Mooney and wife Stacey of Pinson; and two surviving grandchildren, Brandon Mooney and Alex Mooney.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
