Four persons charged in Hartselle drug bust

The execution of a narcotic search warrant at 104 Burn Road in Hartselle on Tuesday resulted in the arrest of two men and two women on charges ranging from the unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance to loitering in a drug house.

The search was conducted by the Morgan County Drug Task Force, Hartselle Police Department and ABC State Police, according to Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin.

Agents found a small amount of meth along with lithium strips, Psuedoephederine, salt, lye, cold packs, camp fuel and syringes. A firearm was also found in the residence.

Arrested and charged were Lowell Dee Wimberley, 49; Amy Dawn Pike, 47; Amy Jan Herron, 45; and Jeffrey Michael Wallace, 49.

All were charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, 1st and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Wimberley, owner of the house, was also charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, 2nd. The other three individuals were also charged with loitering in a drug house.

Bond was set at $10,300 for Wimberley and $5,600 each for Pike, Herron and Wallace.
