Americans to play in World Series

The City of Hartselle will host the Dixie Youth Region II AA World Series July 20-24 in the youth baseball complex at Sparkman Park.
By being hosts, both the Hartselle American and National baseball teams will participate in the tournament. Team members for the Hartselle 7-8 American All-Stars are, from left, (front) Jayce DuBose, Carter Holladay, Coleman Mizell, Greyson Howard, Xander Waddell, Logan Crouch, (middle) William Turner, Brodie Morrow, Keegan Southward, Johnston Murphy, Caleb Pittman, Brant Stringer, (back) Heath Morrow, Gary Turner, Lance Fowler and Josh Morrow. The opening ceremony will be held on Fri., July 20, at Reuben Sims Field. The games will begin on Sat., July 21.
