Farmer sworn in as assistant DA

Hollye L. Farmer, the youngest grandchild of the late Grady and Margie Long of Hartselle, was sworn in recently as assistant district attorney of Walker County by Walker County Circuit Judge Hoyt Elliott. Mrs. Farmer, a recent graduate of the Birmingham School of Law, is the newest member of the Walker County District Attorney’s office. She attended Athens City Schools and is a graduate of West Limestone High School and UAB. Her parents are Mason and Margie McCary of Elkmont and her husband is Daniel R. Farmer.
