Eddy, Nail place at women’s state tourney

Hartselle’s Arin Eddy and Heather Nail finished second and third respectively in the first flight of the 22nd Women’s Stroke Play Championship at Selma Country Club last week.

Eddy finished with a 232, shooting rounds of 80, 75 and 77. Nail had a 234 with rounds of 81, 75 and 78.

Elaine Wood of Spanish Fort won the first flight with a 228.

Cammie Gray of Northport won the women’s stroke play championship with 219.
