Meth lab dumpsite found near Hartselle
The Morgan County Drug Task Force discovered a methamphetamine lab dumpsite on Forrest Chapel Road just West of Hartselle Wednesday night.
Agents discovered that someone had been dumping one-pot meth labs under the bridge near the creek. Approximately 15 meth labs were recovered at the site.
Some of the labs had been there for a few months, but officers believe some were freshly discarded.
Law enforcement officers spent almost three hours cleaning up the area and recovered evidence that will help identify the suspects.
The task force checks rural areas of the county on a regular basis for meth dumpsites. If anyone has information on this dumpsite or any other area in the county, residents are encouraged to call 256-351-4816.
