Funeral for Robert Earl Vaughn, 52, of Decatur was Mon., Oct. 1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Vaughn died Thur., Sept. 27, 2012, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

He was born Dec. 11, 1959, in Gary, Ind., to Earl Jackson Vaughn and Helen Louise Sharp Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Johnson Vaughn, of Decatur; two sons, Kenny Hogan of Decatur and Michael Vaughn of Cullman; a daughter, Tina Walter of Priceville; his father, Earl Vaughn of Hartselle; a sister, Bonnie Vaughn Seale of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Michael Long, Kenny Hogan, Michael Vaughn, Rick Vaughn, Eric Walter, Sherman Grant, Craig Ponter and Scott Jones.
