Funeral for Lora Dean Moore Smith, 68, of Hartselle was Thur., May 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop John McPeek officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Mon., May 13, 2013, at her residence. She was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Morgan County to Wert W. Moore and Betty Mae Johnson Moore. Mrs. Smith was formerly employed and retired from CF Flagg as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three sons, Jason Pepper of Hartselle, Cameron Westmoreland of Massey and Pat Westmoreland of Witchita, Kan.; four daughters, Melissa Westmoreland of Addison, Leslie Banks, Vickie W. Szalwinsk, and Stephanie Stallings all of Hartselle; two sisters, Betty Rackley and Lillie Mae Smallwood of Hartselle; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Rackley, Kyle Rackley, Rocky Will, Stan Holt, John Ross Smith and Willard Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons.
