Louise Brooks

Funeral for Louise Brooks, 80, of Hartselle will be Wed. (today), May 22, at 11 a.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church at Speake with Bro. Wayne Turner officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Old Town Creek Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Mrs. Brooks died Sat., May 18, 2013, at her residence. She was born April 28, 1933, in Franklin County. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brooks; and two sons, Herschel Brooks and Larry Brooks.

She is survived by two sons, Earl Brooks of Speake and Lee Brooks of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
