Auditions for ‘AristoCats’ set

College Street Players announce auditions for Disney’s “The AristoCats Kids” for kindergarteners through eighth graders.

Auditions will be held Thurs., June 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Sat., June 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Production dates will be Aug. 1- 3 with four performances.

Parts include 10-12 principal characters, 7-10 supporting characters, 6-8 alley cats and 10-12 kitty cat chorus members. This is a musical and will be cast on vocal strengths as well as character description and stage presence.

Those who wish to audition should be prepared to sing a brief piece (2 minutes or less) that highlights their vocal range and strengths. They may also be asked to learn and follow some simple dance steps.
