Ivadell Marcella Murdock Cobb

Funeral for Ivadell Marcella Murdock Cobb, 89, of Hartselle was Sun., May 26, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. with Bro. Larry Murdock officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mrs. Cobb died Fri., May 24, 2013. She was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Tennessee to Sam Nealy and Lizzie Holt Murdock. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Cobb; daughter-in-law, Glynda Cobb; three brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Neal Cobb of Helena and Wayne Cobb and wife Diane of Clanton; two daughters, Janice Stover and husband Jackie of Decatur and Beverly Hovis and husband Chuck of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chris Cobb, Lee Cobb, Shane Hovis, Dusty Slaten, Logan Gilliam and Niren Kapoor.

Honorary pallbearer was Kerry Cobb.
