A graveside service for Melissa Ann Johnson, 45, of Hartselle was Sun., May 26, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Miss Johnson died Thur., May 23, 2013, in Hartselle. She was born March 30, 1968, to James Paul Johnson and Diane Kellogg Johnson. Miss Johnson was preceded in death by her father, James Paul Johnson; and grandmother, Hattie Burkett.

She is survived by her mother, Diane Johnson of Hartselle; her aunts, Sara Hughes of Hartselle, Sarah Jo, Martha and Edie; two uncles, Carl Kellogg and Lee Kellogg; and cousin, Junior Hughes of Hartselle.
