Funeral or Vada Levell Wilhite, 87, of Cullman was Mon., June 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pearl Jenkins and Joe Wilhite officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilhite died on Sat., June 1, 2013, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born July 23, 1925, in Cullman County to John H. McAbee and Mary Ann Burns McAbee. Mrs. Wilhite was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide for the Falkville Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wilhite; her parents; three sons, Billy Jack, Travis Phil and Roger Dale Wilhite; and a daughter, Patsy Ann Amith.

She is survived by three sons, Virgil Elvis Wilhite of Hartselle, Larry Joe Wilhite of Cullman and Ricky Dan Wilhite of Cullman; three daughters, Brenda S. Ball of Falkville, Linda Gayle Vogel of Falkville and Debbie Wilhite Banks; a sister, Verdie McAbee Jones; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
