Annie Mae George

Funeral for Annie Mae George, 89, of Falkville will be Fri., June 7, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Chapel with the Revs. Harold Widener and Richard Roberts officiating.

Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. George died June 5, 2013, at Woodland Village Healthcare in Cullman. She was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Morgan County to Leeman Alexander and Mae Clower Thompson. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Aaron George; a son, James William George; and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Pitts.

She is survived by three daughters, Emma Roberts and husband Richard, Vicky Pitts and husband Carlton, Peggy Willis and husband Ronnie; a son, Leeman George and wife Patsy; two sisters, Betty Moll and Shirley Drinkard; 11 grandchildren, Richard George, Jason Pitts, Misty Thomas and husband Joe, Joseph Cain and wife Brandy, Jacob Roberts, Jeremy George, Christopher Pitts and wife Shannon, Stephanie Robertson and husband Chad, Brian George, Nathan Cain and wife Taylor, Megan Roberts; and 11 great-grandchildren.
