Falkville addition to cost $175,000

Falkville has finalized the contractors and architects for the expansion of the Falkville Municipal Building at 21 North 1st Avenue.

Leonard Designs P.C will be the architect, ABSI Inc. will be the electrical engineer, Gregory Qualls will be the structural engineer and Total Design Engineering will be the mechanical engineer.

The tentative cost of expansion is $175,000. The project will add a courtroom to the south end of the existing Falkville Municipal Building. Currently the meeting room also functions as a courtroom when necessary.

Leonard Designs hopes to start schematic drawings soon.
