Sadie Orr accepted to UA nursing

Mersadies “Sadie” Orr was accepted to the Capstone College of Nursing for the summer semester.

She was accepted with 95 other students out of 300 applicants.

Orr is a 2011 Hartselle High School graduate and attends the University of Alabama. She also made the President’s List for 2012-2013 school year and was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, whose members rank in the top 20 percent of their class with a minimum GPA of 3.4.

Orr also received the Ernestine Tucker Award on April 7 for the sophomore with the highest academic standing. She is pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing, with a goal of attaining a master of science in nursing.
