Canning class set for July 15

The Morgan County Extension Office is offering a free Canning Class July 15 at 10 a.m.

This two-hour class will teach the basics of canning in order to preserve food safely and eliminate the possibility of incurring deadly botulism poisoning.

The class will be held at the Morgan County Cooperative Extension Office at 3120 Hwy. 36 W. in Hartselle. Regional Agent for Food Safety Emily Campbell will teach the class.
