Certification deadline set for July 15

USDA’s Farm Service Agency in Morgan County reminds producers the deadline to certify crops is July 15.

Corn, cotton, grain sorghum, peanut, soybeans and other fruit and vegetable crops enrolled in programs other than the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program must have acreage reports certified by the deadline.

Failed acreage must be reported within 15 days of the disaster event and before disposition of the crop. Prevented planting must be reported no later than 15 days after the final planting date.
