Somerville man accused of abusing girl
A Somerville man is facing misdemeanor charges after he was accused of abusing a girl on his property.
Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jarvis Felix Terry, 55, of 90 Joe Lemmon Rd. in Somerville at his residence Friday and charged with sexual abuse in the second degree.
The suspect was placed in the Morgan County Jail and was later released on a $6,000 bond.
Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin said in a press release that the suspect was accused of sexually abusing a female minor in a shed at his Somerville home May 26.
Special Victims Unit investigator Sgt. Pete Taylor filed the misdemeanor arrest warrant.
