Hartselle Bass Team wins big

The HHS 2012-2013 Fishing Team earned many awards this year. The Hartselle High School Bass Fishing Team recently completed its season, winning numerous awards.

The team won second overall at state. Joseph McAnally won the Big Fish Award at the Smith Lake Regional Tournament and second place Student Angler in the State Tournament.

Ross Napier also won second place at Student Angler in the State Tournament.

Garrett Jones won second place in the Timmy Horton High School Bass Anglers Challenge and fourth place in the Lake Tuscaloosa Regional Tournament.

Drew Copeland (left) and Bobby Puckett took 11th place out of 200 at the Lake Guntersville fishing tournament.

Others who won awards were as follows: Adam Small, Brantley Wiley, Justin Mayfield, Tom Chapman, Drew Copeland, Bobby Puckett and Forest Anders.

The bass team is coached by Charles Clemons.
