Howes attends Governor’s School

The Alabama Governor’s School was held at Samford University June 16-28.

Shannon Howes of Hartselle was among the 83 outstanding rising high school seniors chosen to attend the session. Participants received college level experience in academics, creativity and leadership. AGS students are nominated by their school’s teachers and guidance counselors, based on academic ability, leadership qualities, creativity and community service.

Howes is the daughter of Kim and Robert Howes and attends Danville High School.
