Anderson named Alabama District Attorney Sec.-Trea.

The District Attorneys of Alabama elected Morgan County District Attorney Scott Anderson as secretary-treasurer of the Alabama District Attorneys Association June 25 for the 2013-2014 term.

Anderson has served on the ADAA Executive Committee in prior years and has worked to promote the interest of prosecutors, victims and Alabama’s citizens.

The ADAA formulates policy to provide training, programs, services and opportunities for those involved with prosecution, creating the National Computer Forensic Institute in Hoover and the Zerometh campaign.

Other District Attorneys elected to office include Richard J. Minor of St. Clair County as president and Robert L. Broussard of Madison County as vice president.
