Robinson Arrest

Decatur Police officers and Alabama Beverage Control Agents cooperated to arrest an employee of USA Gas Station for selling alcohol to minors.

ABC and Decatur officers received numerous complaints over the last few weeks from concerned parents who claimed the gas station at 1823 Beltline Rd. in Decatur was allowing minors to buy alcohol.

In response, Sgt. J. Hyder of the Decatur Organized Crime Unit and ABC Agent Bill Lapradd had a minor purchase an alcoholic beverage from the USA Gas Station July 11. Store attendant, Bryan Alan Robinson, 34, of Falkville, sold the alcohol to the minor.

Sgt. Hyder arrested Robinson and charged him with Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage to a Minor. Robinson was taken to the Decatur City Jail and held on a $500 bond.

Further action by the ABC concerning the USA Gas Station is pending.
