Homecoming week kicks off

The Homecoming Kickoff, featuring class skits and court lead outs, started a busy homecoming week for the Hartselle Tigers Monday night.

Classes compete all week, with points given for class standings in the Battle of the Skits, the Powder Puff games scheduled for Wednesday night starting at 4:30 p.m. at J.P. Cain Stadium, the lawn decoration contest and the Battle of the Classes Thursday. The class champion will be named at Friday’s pep rally at the high school.

Homecoming week culminates in Friday’s 7 p.m. football game at J.P Cain against Birmingham-area Briarwood Christian School. Both teams are undefeated, and Hartselle looks to extend its season record to 5-0.
