Hartselle High homecoming continues with Battle of the Classes
Hartselle High School hosted the battle of the classes Sept. 27. The battle took place as part of homecoming week and consisted of games and activities among the classes.

The battle included games such as tug of war, cornhole, dodgeball and disc golf. More unique activities included students spinning around with their foreheads on a baseball bat then shooting a basketball, as well as a challenge that required finding a gumball in a pie of whip cream and blowing a bubble. The students also participated in musical chairs and had to shoot a basketball goal before sitting.

Students dressed up to represent their teams and cheered for their competing classmates. The seniors were represented by superheroes, the juniors by professional athletes, the sophomores in all black and the freshmen in all white.

The points from the games will be added to the total points earned throughout the rest of the week and will be used to decide the overall champions for the homecoming challenges. Other homecoming activities include skits, dress-up day participation and lawn decorations.
