Morgan County Sheriff’s Office to host community fundraiser for Special Needs Rodeo

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Swamp John’s Fundraiser for the upcoming Special Needs Rodeo March 5 from 4-7 p.m.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Special Needs Rodeo, going on its eleventh year, is the largest event of its kind in Alabama. This year’s rodeo will be held April 11. Organizers are planning to host roughly 1,700 special needs students, teachers and support staff. The rodeo serves the special needs community of Morgan County and related schools and organizations but is closed to the public. The participant and volunteer slots are full for this year but organizations or individuals would like to know how they can support the event now or in future years can contact the sheriff’s office or email: public.relations@morgancoso.com.
