Authorities ID body found in west Hartselle

Authorities have identified a body found in west Hartselle as a Lacey’s Spring woman.  

The body of Bobbi Jolynn Garrison, 43, was found by a hunter at approximately 9:41 a.m. Dec. 27. Garrison’s body was found on Jenkins Court off of Highway 36 in an unincorporated area of Hartselle. 

Deputies responded, located the deceased white female and secured the scene.  

Moran County coroner Jeff Chunn and CID investigators arrived and processed the scene.  

They were able to identify the female and are in the process of notifying family, according to public information officer Mike Swafford.  

The body will be sent to forensics, with the cause of death under investigation.
