Pursuit ends with trafficking arrests

Early on Wednesday morning, January 6, 2021 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Danville Rd and the Beltline in Decatur. The vehicle attempted to elude until wrecking on County Rd 358 in Trinity.

One occupant, identified as Hayden Sky Lynn Harville, 20 of Moulton fled on foot and was unable to be located.

At the scene, Agents observed a 2.4oz of Methamphetamine and 2.5oz of Marijuana. 

Agents arrested: 
▪️Mackenzie Michelle Letson, 21 of Trinity, for Trafficking – Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. Bond $12,500

▪️Austin Joe Blankenship, 21 of Moulton, for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. Bond $12,500
They were transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.

Additionally, Agents have obtained warrants on Hayden Sky Lynn Harville. He is wanted on

▪️Trafficking – Methamphetamine 
▪️Possession of Marijuana
▪️Attempt to Elude
▪️2 warrants for Reckless Endangerment

The Decatur Police Department, Trinity Police Department and Lawrence County Sheriff Office assisted in the pursuit.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit is made up of Morgan County Sheriff Narcotics Agents and Hartselle Police Department Officers.
